Landcare & Regeneration

Hands in the Ground, Monday Mornings. Smiths Lake's volunteer Landcare group is heroic — and there is always a welcome for another pair of hands.

Every Monday morning, a dedicated group of Smiths Lake volunteers heads out to the foreshore, green spaces and bush walking trails to pull weeds, regenerate native bush and keep the village looking its best. All ages and abilities are welcome — and a morning tea picnic or café visit is a regular reward.
