Pacific Palms Art Festival 2026
FESTIVAL RECAP
A weekend celebration of local art and community

2026 Opening Night - Scenes and works at the 2026 Pacific Palms Art Festival
What happened
The Pacific Palms Art Festival returned in 2026 and proved a great success, well represented by 97 local artists. A total of 189 pieces were entered and 57 sold over the weekend — double the previous year’s sales.
The much-anticipated annual opening night was oversubscribed, with 220 residents and visitors attending on the Friday. Whilst total weekend visitor numbers are still being tallied, the festival drew strong crowds across both days.

Highlights
After a hiatus last year, the festival was brought back by a committee of just eight — a significant effort to restore a much-loved community event. This year also saw the introduction of bar-coded inventory and digital purchases, modernising how works were tracked and sold. Looking ahead, the festival has already received offers of volunteer support to reinstate the youth art section in 2027.
This year’s entries were judged by Steven Harvey, with first-prize winners announced across sections over the weekend.

With thanks to the patrons, sponsors and supporters who made the 2026 festival possible.
And of course, sincere thanks too, to the eight committee members and additional volunteers, who brought the festival back this year, and to the new volunteers stepping forward to help reinstate the youth art section for 2027.
