The Vision

Inspired by the lake’s sandbar, channels and sand flats, the Master plan design will create a safe, engaging and nature-aligned space. The pump track, as a significant component of the added amenities, when complete, will extend the existing more advanced skate bowl area, add a gentler introduction to the sport, offering locals and visitors a vibrant, accessible place to ride, play, gather and connect.

A new 200mΒ² pump track, designed for all ages and skill levels, will transform an under utilised space at Smiths Lake Recreation Reserve into a vibrant hub for the community.

A site-specific PUMP TRACK design to extend the existing skate bowl has been prepared and construction of the Smiths Lake Pump Track forms a key element of the community-led upgrade Masterplan to enhance the Recreation Reserve.
